Biography

I studied photography at “Graffiti Scuola permanente di Fotografia”, in Rome. From 2003 I am part of the technical and teacher staff.

My interest is mainly addressed to social aspects, trying througout the shots to think over people condition, giving them the chance to express emotions and thoughts.
From 2002 I am focused on Gipsy community. Some pictures from this work were published in the photographic book“ Figli di un Dio Minore”,  winner of the “Orvieto Foto Festival 2006”. My photographic work on Gypsies is still in progress.
From 2003, I realized several photojournalistic reportages in Middle East, South America, Asia, Africa in behalf of international and italian press with the support and contribution of important International Organizations  (MSF, UN, Derechos Humanos, and many others).
In middle East, I am following the evolution of the conflict between israeli and palestinians, cooperating with italian press, since from the 2nd Intifada up to today.
Contributing to same international newspapers, I had the chance to follow the recent governamental elections in Palestine and the withdraw of Israeli colonists from Gaza.
On 2006, I realized a report concerning the townships in Cape Town, where, after 12 years to the end of the Apartheid, discrimination and social problems are still huge. This is  a work in progress in order to go deep documenting black people issues and the cohabitation between black and white in the whole country.
From 2006 I'm member of Nazca Pictures International Photo Press Agency.
