This is one of the areas forbidden by UN because of its dangerousness. Waf Jeremie is built on a garbage dump among the sea and a little smelly, dark river. This is a high risk area for deseases. After hurricane Tomas great part of it was flooded and Waf Jeremie is one of the first Port au Prince areas where cholera appeared.
